Mid Mount Motor E-bike DIY Full Conversion Kit with Samsung Battery and Charger
E Bike Conversion Kit Mid Mount Motor, Samsung Battery and Charger. Convert your favourite standard bicycle to an E bike with the latest technology!
This kit is easy to fit on to your favourite bicycle. With your bike staying standard, this means that any repairs required are not specialist and not expensive. Parts for standard bicycles are generally cheap and very easy to get hold of.
You also do not need to replace any parts of your bike with specialist parts to take advantage of this kit! Mid mount central motors are more efficient than front/rear motor versions. They are lighter and run for longer distances. The battery included with the kit is a top quality Samsung 36V10Ah Li-ion battery.The battery is also removable allowing you to charge indoors for convenience, and great for deterring theft. More economical than purchasing a top end E bike but still benefiting from the latest technology. Length 380 mm Width 90mm Height 90mm. Slide on off mounting bracket which is flat.
How it works: The motor "kicks in" as you start to pedal and will continue to assist your pedalling as long as you are cycling! To comply with EU law the motor will stop/cut out at a maximum speed of 25kmh.A work colleague recently converted his standard Trek bike using one our kits and happily covers 25-30km a day commuting. (Video available up on request). 1 Remove your bottom bracket and front derailleur 2 Insert the motor and install the motor hanger, fasten the bottom bracket. 4 Install the LCD display. 5 Connect the waterproof cable and the battery cable. Thoroughly read the installation manual included with your kit.
Be aware of the physical issues around the bottom bracket. Our mid mount motor will fit bottom brackets whose shell is 68mm or 73mm long (35mm Ø). However, the space between the motor's bottom bracket and the motor's housing is not enough to. Also, if your bike has bosses on the lower half of the bottom bracket shell, you may have to grind them down.
If your bike has one mounted under the bottom bracket shell, please get in touch for advice. Also, if your bike has a side kickstand mounted close to or right behind the bottom bracket, please.
