Dawes Sardar touring/expedition bike

  

Bombproof Reynolds 631 air hardened tubing, with more braze ons than you can shake a stick at - 3 sets of water bottle bosses, front an rear pannier mounts, disc brake mounts and even a braze on to hold spare spokes. I have been on many adventures with this bike and it rides really nicely, even fully laden. Shimano Deore 27 speed groupset, with the exception of a Truativ chainset and Avid brake levers, it's very easy (and cheap) to maintain- not to be sniffed at with the parts prices of the latest group sets being ridiculous. The parts are available in pretty much every bike shop too.

This bike has been very well looked after, with recent expenditure being a new cassette and chain, new Schwalbe Marathon tyres and tubes and new SKS mudguards. SDG Bell air saddle and suspension seatpost(standard post available)Excellent paintwork. I'm 5'7" with a 30" inside leg - you can see from the pictures that there's a bit of movement either way height wise.

Until recently, this has been my commuter bike, but a recent job change with a seventy mile commute and a house move in the near future has meant that I have decided to reduce my way too large bike collection (see other items). Collection in person preferred, but I'm willing to deliver up to 50 miles away from St Neots for free. Willing to discuss other arrangements.
