Vintage 1984 Motobecane Jubilee Sport 25 Columbus Steel Bike 100% Orig Cond
An extremely well preserved and 100% original condition 1984 Motobecane Jubilee Sport model constructed using Columbus CrMo steel with inexternal butted large size 25 road bike. This is completely original right down to the Motobecane branded toe straps, Motobecane saddle, Michelin tyres and even the integrated handlebar/brake lever hood rubber grips! A rare model bike and even rarer in this condition. A Beautifully constructed frame using Columbus inexternal butted Chromoly tubing making it light, stiff and strong. Motobecane opted for the better quality Japanese made Suntour transmission for this model rather than the usual Simplex equipment.
All the components are in excellent condition and work flawlessly. The bike has been fully serviced with all new inner cables, wheels have been trued & tensioned with both hubs stripped and packed with fresh grease.
Bottom bracket & headrace have been cleaned out and loaded with fresh grease too. The bike rides beautifully and wants for nothing apart from a new owner! It's difficult to show a full bike with only 12 photos so If you would like extra photos of certain areas then please let me know but even with the 12 I'm sure you can see this bike is pretty much in mint & original condition.
